Dennis Uchenna Aniehe is a middle-aged retail clothing trader whose store at
24 Docemu Street opposite Oba Akintoye International Market on Lagos Island was
completely burnt in a fire that occurred on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
The fire, reportedly caused by the careless
refuelling of a generator in a penthouse of one of the buildings next to
Dennis’ shop, was a devastating event. Unfortunately
for Dennis and many others who weren’t around when the fire was burning, his
store was completely burnt, and its goods, worth nearly 20 million Naira, were
destroyed.
Dennis is like a pillar amongst his kinsmen
and kindred, but sadly he is now facing a tough challenge. As the main source
of income for his family and a beacon of hope for his kinsmen and kindred, he
is left with nothing to rebuild his business. We appeal to your generosity to
help Dennis recover and continue his once thriving business.
